Possibly Helpful Advice

Including what we found in Scientology before it became a cult

Weekend wrap-up at Possibly Helpful Advice 06 October 2012

The stuff that hit the fan is flying so fast and furiously that I decided to do a “tidbits” post today rather than cover every news piece from the week in detail.

The Huffington Post published an article about how Tom Cruise is getting Miscavige-dispensation from Scientology Inc’s Disconnection policy. For those of us who have had to disconnect from…or been disconnected from…friends and acquaintances due to the heavy-handed approach to injustice doled out by Miscavige, Katie’s public departure from Scientology hasn’t merited the sledgehammer Miscavige approach, which shows how unjust and unfair and savage Miscavige’s knee-jerk disconnection policy is to the rest of us. See the article here.

Narconon is being sued in Oklahoma for wrongful death. Part of the suit is that the defendant (Narconon) has fraudulently hidden its association with Able and Scientology Inc. See that story here.

News about Narconon getting investigated in Atlanta surfaced this week, too.

Turns out the quiet in Marty Rathbun’s neighborhood is due to Scientology Inc buying or renting houses around Marty’s house so that covert video surveillance can occur. My take on it is that Marty is not so much the target of the surveillance as the parishioners and ex-parishioners that might come to visit him, so that they, too, can be declared. I wonder if Scientology Inc can be made the target of a RICO investigation. See the story here and here.

The lawsuit from the PIs who claim to have not been paid by Scientology Inc for their unethical twenty-year activities in hunting and harassing Pat Broeker and Marty Rathbun and others continues apace, with Scientology Inc claiming that the suit was filed in the wrong venue! (Instead of just paying off the PIs.) Another Miscavige diversionary tactic. Can’t wait to hear the testimony on this one.

Coverage in Israeli press about Scientology Inc vs. Dror Center here. (you need to register, free, to read the article)

Truth Revealed: Scientology Inc does not help take care of the planet as advised in The Way To Happiness: deforestation is the order of the day.

Other news of the week is covered in this blog’s posts already.

Remember that REALITY is, here on earth, “agreement as to what is.” (COHA)

So the more it is shown that the people of earth agree that Miscavige is a disingenuous conniving hypocrite, the more real it will be to the law-enforcement agencies who can wield the power to do something about it.

I’ve been admiring your forbearance in handling people who can’t seem to find their way out of the CO$. Now I’m admiring the way you wield the hammer to “shatter” suppression.

Eventually there will be a lot of people walking around asking “how could I have been so blind?”

Love the graphic of the guy sitting on the throne catching up on the news! And I’ve been meaning to compliment you on your fine choice of graphics … it’s one of the pleasures of reading your site.
