Phoenix Idle Org’s Dee Dee Resurfaces

Just in case the news about the Southwest Alliance was sounding vague and pointless, Dee Dee, the star of the ill-fated Idle Org donation video reappears.

Dee Dee appeared in the mock-a-rific video from mid-2011:

After two years of hiding under a rock trying to re-gather her dignity, Dee Dee has resurfaced in a promotional video for this weekend’s Ideal Org Indoctrination Fest in the Phoenix Idle Org.

Whatever she did to regain her dignity, it looks like she still needs drilling on it.

It also looks to me like Phoenix still needs adult supervision.

I’m supposed to comment?

Uugh. About what should I comment?

How should I comment about a video which is not informative or entertaining?

I don’t even know what I have seen!

Some drunk people jumping and shouting?

Sorry I can’tz comment further than that!

Love it! WTG on getting donations for buildings instead of paying for your bridge. That’s spot on policy.

I like Dee Dee so much. She is really a great gal. I wish she would wake up and leave and start living her life. BTW, for an Idle org, that is really a sparse call-in unit, eh? Where are the rest of the supposedly 70 staff? Sounds like they’re doing event call-in to me. Is it just me or are the colors in that room they are in depressing? Is it supposed to be southwest colors?

I agree with Rebel Warrior on this. Dee-Dee seems like an exuberant, nice person. I’d see nothing
wrong with the over-the-top antics and the fake enthusiasm if they were doing this after genuinely helping people. The problem is they stopped helping people. What’s left is “phony help” which they want to exchange for “real money”.

Whereas Scientology used to provide “real help”; that has devolved into “phony help”, “phony
enthusiasm” and “phony activity”. But they still want “real money”.

If they were spending even 10% of their time moving people up the Bridge; all these antics
might be tolerated. You could chalk it up to “unwinding” after all the hard work necessary to help people move up the Bridge.

Unfortunately that is not the case.

My objection to the Phoenix Org videos comes from my understanding of LRH’s definition(s) of misemotional (found in the Tech Dictionary).

MISEMOTIONAL, 1. such a word would indicate that a person did not display the emotion called for by the actual circumstances of the situation. (SOS) 2. being misemotional is synonymous with being irrational. (SOS)

Is the enthusiasm rational? Or is it phony enthusiasm that’s the result of having the “southwest alliance” dumped on you? And being faced with the options of either (1) making yourself enthusiastic with nothing rational to back it up or (2) voicing your hesitations and objections to the COB’s orders and his “plans”?

Given those two choices, Dee Dee chose the one that will keep her and her family in the church.

That’s rational, isn’t it?

Oh, yeah. You missed “phony sincerity”.

crane007  on June 27th, 2013

Yes; misemotion and a mockery of genuine emotion.
But I would say that there is one genuine emotion:
Deedee’s naivetee. DeeDee trusts.

Like DeeDee, I’ve made a fool of myself many times. Looking back..OK, when it was for a good cause. But here in Phoenix, the good cause (moving up the Bridge)has long been abandoned. In its place is this “we can lie, cheat and steal and then get back to good causes later”. We can make it look like a game, an innocent diversion, and put an OT8 stamp of approval on it. Phoenix org can betray DeeDee and get away with it. But don’t piss on me and tell me its just rain.

“After two years of hiding under a rock trying to re-gather her dignity, Dee Dee has resurfaced…”

Didn’t work out for her, she had no dignity to re-gather.

A good, personal ethics program might help her to get in touch with herself and the world around her.

Then Scientology might help her further.

Alternatively she could meditate(lol), that might calm her down.

Of course she’d have to get out of the suppressive environment of the “Church” before anything could help.

Sad. Such a waste of a life.

PlainOldThetan  on June 28th, 2013

Funny. After hiding for two years under a rock trying to regain her dignity, she lost the gains from her sabbatical by getting associated with the Southwest Idle Org Alliance, a suppressive branch of Scientology Inc.

Roller-coaster to old behavior after a gain would be considered PTS, wouldn’t it?

Rebel Warrior  on June 28th, 2013

Yes, I agree. Definitely PTS and definitely undignified behavior. But, I also see it as desperate behavior. Dee Dee appears to be a firm believer in waxing enthusiastic. I remember feeling pressured to wax enthusiastic when I was in and it was a violation of my personal integrity to do so. At the same time, it would’ve meant a confrontation had I not done so in order to accomplish some “greatest good for the greatest number” goal at the time.

There is much to criticize about the videos and the “actors” in them, but, if they feel as I did down deep and know they are violating their own integrity, then I can only hope that at some point they will say “enough” and leave, as I did. Of course, they can never speak about how they really feel to anyone who is “in”.

There are so many good, sincere people on staff in Phoenix and other orgs everywhere who do things they disagree with every day because they feel they must or suffer the consequences. They know, as I did, that the things they are being asked to do are off policy and are not in keeping with what LRH would’ve wanted. Resisting or protesting doing it, or writing it up have probably all been to no avail or worse. If they are anything like me, they realize it is a great betrayal and disappointment. People have to get through that somehow in their own way, especially the long-time in. And there are many long-time in staff in Phoenix.

I really feel for everyone making their way out like I did. It’s hard and the betrayal and long term deception is a deep stab wound that takes a while to heal. At least it is for me. I’ve been “out” for over 3 years now.

Dee Dee’s effort to wax enthusiastic doesn’t cover up the anguish on her face. I just hope she and others like her can wake up somehow and get out before they completely lose themselves.
