Finding your way after leaving the cult of Scientology

A Source Information Retrieval system for every Independent Scientologist

How many hours have you spent looking up an obscure LRH quote or technical reference only to retire frustrated and unsatisfied?

The COS has a Source Information Retrieval system (SIR) which is restricted to certain staff members and is not available for general use.  For the full story of the early days of Incomm and SIR, read http://holysmoke.org/rvy/18.htm

You can have a better Source Information Retrieval system in a matter of hours using DocFetcher which is an Open Source desktop search application that enables you to quickly locate content in your documents based on a keyword search. http://docfetcher.sourceforge.net/en/index.html

This DocFetcher utility searches through PDF files and zip files, so you can finally access your hoard of downloaded files and find out what has been written on the subjects you need to know.

You will need to run DocFetcher on a Windows 7 computer. Vista will not work and and XP system is not as reliable.
